John Wick 4 Adds From Dusk Till Dawn Actor Marko Zaror

From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series star Marko Zaror is in talks to join John Wick 4. The next movie in the hit action franchise is currently in production and hits theaters on May 27, 2022.

According to Deadline, Zaror will play one of John Wick’s “main adversaries” in the movie. The Chilean actor is also a martial artist and stuntman. He played the Aztec warrior Zolo in Season 3 of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, as well as appearing in producer Robert Rodriguez’s movies Alita: Battle Angel and Machete Kills.

Zaror joins an impressive cast for John Wick 4. Keanu Reeves returns as Wick once more, with Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, and Shamier Anderson also set to appear. Chad Stahelski is back as director, with a script by Shay Hatten, who co-wrote 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3.

While Stahelski has directed or co-directed every movie in the John Wick series so far, franchise creator Derek Kolstad isn’t returning for the next one. In March, Kolstad admitted it wasn’t his decision not to be involved with the movie, but stated, “I’m never going to talk s*** about John Wick. I want this thing to survive and thrive.”

In related news, details of the John Wick spin-off show The Continental were recently revealed. The Starz series will be a ’70s-set prequel focusing on the younger Winston, the enigmatic character played by Ian McShane in the movies.
